Charles F. Moran

Mt. Olive Township:  Charles F. Moran passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.  He was 82 years of age.

Charles was born and raised in the Mt. Hope section of Rockaway Township.  He lived in Dover and retired to the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive.

Charles was a proud US Marine Veteran.

Mr. Moran was the Housing Inspector for the town of Dover for 30 years, retiring in 2004.

He was a long time member of the Rockaway Township Sportsman, joining in 1968.  He was also a member of the American Legion and coached the Area Little League.

He could always be found supporting his grandchildren's sporting events from the sidelines.

Visitation will be held 4-7pm on Tuesday June 25, 2024 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S Main St, Wharton, NJ 07885.

A funeral service will be held 11am on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mine Hill.
