Charles C. Cappello

Hackettstown:  Charles C. Cappello passed away at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center Hospice on Saturday, November 23, 2019.  He was 97 years of age.

Charles was born in Bridgeport, CT and spent his entire life as a resident of Dover until recently moving to Hackettstown.

He was a WWII Army Air Corp Flight Engineer, flying in the Bombers and Fighters.

Mr. Cappello was the co-owner and operator of Elizabeth Undergarment Company and retired in 1983.

He was a member of the Hackettstown Coin Club and UNICO (the largest Italian American Service Organization in the USA) of Hackettstown.

Predeceased in 2011 by his wife Helen (née Pekula).

Jonathan Janda of Washington, NJ

Brian Cappello of Boulder, CO

Nicholas Cappello of Long Beach, CA and Carly Cappello of Hershey, PA

Services will be private.  A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced on the funeral home website.
