Charles Calabrese

Mine Hill:  Charles Calabrese entered into eternal rest on Friday February 7, 2020 after a short illness.

Charles was born in Pittston, PA August 6, 1929. He married his wife, Phyllis in 1953 and resided in Mine Hill since 1958.

He was a devoted husband, loving father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his son, Charlie Jr. and his daughter in-law Patty and 4 grandchildren Christine, Michelle, Paul, and Brian and great-granddaughter Lucy.  He is also survived by his younger sister Kathleen. He was predeceased by his wife Phyllis, daughter Marianne Bernhardt, his brother Louis and sister Antoinette.

He had a long career in banking and was an avid golfer. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Wharton.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 11 am at St. Mary’s Church, 371 South Main St., Wharton, NJ 07885. (Use in GPS)
