Roxbury Twp.: With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur J. Toronzi on October 7, 2021 at his home. He was 71.
Arthur was born in Dover, April 1, 1950 and grew up in Jefferson Twp. He was the 3rd son of the late Benjamin Toronzi and Anne (née Hosken). He graduated from Jefferson HS and worked as a mechanic for many years. His passion was antique cars and working in his garage with his children and grandson.
He had a dry sense of humor and was a ball-buster but was always willing to help others. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 91 of Wharton as well as the Operating Engineers Local 825.
Predeceased by his daughter, Lisa Ann in 1979 and his brothers; Robert, Sr. & William.
Survived by his loving wife Janet (née Ball) of 46 years, his sons, Michael and wife Nichole and Derek who helped take care of him.
His grandson Jordan & step-grandchildren; Ava & Evan Mackowicz and Justin Stymacks.
Sisters: Patricia Reese & Joan Cameron and husband Bruce as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation will be held 4-8pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A funeral service will be held 11am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
