Arlene Jeanette (McConnell) Patruno

Dover:  Arlene Jeanette Patruno passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at her daughter’s home with her family at her side.  She was 88 years of age.

Arlene was born in Newark and was raised in the Stephen Crane Village section on Hawthorne Lane.  When Arlene and Joseph began their family, they moved to Dover, NJ where she has been ever since.

Mrs. Patruno was a school trained seamstress.  She also worked for Bell Telephone as an operator and later as a bus driver for the Morris Hills School District.

Predeceased by her mother Mae (Elizabeth)McConnell and her Step-Father, Rocco Azzolino. 

Husband of 62 years, Joseph Patruno in December of 2018.

Survived by Four Children: Linda Patruno.

                                           Sandra Holley and her husband Robert.

                                           Michael Patruno.

                                           Tina Lawrence and her husband Tom.

Also survived by Ten Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm on Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.

Interment will be held 11am on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Stanhope Union Cemetery, 69 Love Lane, Netcong, NJ 07857.
