Archimedes B. Del Mundo

Dover:  Archimedes B. Del Mundo, fondly called Archie/Ed passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center at the age of 51 years old. Archie was born to Armando and Fe Del Mundo on December 31, 1970 in Quezon City, Philippines and came to the U.S. on April 1, 1991, settling in Dover.

He worked as a Lab Technician for IAL of Randolph for over 15 years while also pursuing his passion as an auto mechanic. Archie touched the hearts and cars of many people, particularly within the local Filipino American Communities to help with their automotive problems. Despite his battle with medical issues over the years, he showed his courage, toughness, and sincerity facing any challenge with a smile.

Archie loved his family greatly, especially his children Aaron and Angel Joy. Outside the garage, he enjoyed the Filipino cuisine, watching You Tube, playing lottery tickets, and spending time with his family and friends.  As a very selfless man, he always put the needs of others before himself and continually showed his generous, kind and giving heart. His happiest place was to relax and enjoy the Philippines.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister Elizabeth Del Mundo, and family dog Torque McFadden. He is survived by his son, Aaron L. Del Mundo, daughter Angel Joy Perol; Brothers Ariel, Aristotle, and Aries; Sisters Elma and Eleanor; and many nieces and nephews and family dogs Turbo and Diesel. He will be mournfully missed by his family, friends and all the people who knew him.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Bermingham Funeral Home on 216 S. Main St., Wharton. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Stjude.org on his behalf.

A funeral service will be held at 4pm following the visitation at the funeral home. An interment will be private.
