Anthony J. Martignetti

Jefferson Twp.:  Anthony J. Martignetti passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023 at his home in Lake Hopatcong.  He was 87 years of age.

Anthony was born and raised in Jersey City to the late Amerino and Anna Martignetti.  He lived in Bayonne for many years and has lived in Lake Hopatcong for the past 20 years.

He worked as an Auditor for AT&T in New York City for many years. He was active in the Italic Institute of America, and the Sons of Italy.  He was also instrumental in organizing many Operas in Bayonne through Opera Theatre International.

He is survived by his sister Victoria Ross, who took great care of him for many years, nephew Mark Ross, great-nephew Giovanni Ross and great-niece Giuliana Ross.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10am on Wednesday November 15, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 237 Espanong Road , Lake Hopatcong. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
