Devoted father, loving husband, and Tony, “T-bone,” and “Pops” to so many. A lover of life, Seinfeld, StarTrek, the Yankees and the LA Rams. Anthony Dragona passed peacefully on April 1, 2024 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, surrounded by love.
Born in Jersey City, son of the late Pasquale and Vita (D’Elia) Dragona; youngest brother to Joseph Dragona and Angela (Dragona) Stallone. Anthony and his wife of 36 years, Maureen (Szeleski) Dragona, built a beautiful life together in Lake Shawnee, NJ. Anthony treasured nothing more than his family and spending time with his wife and sons: Nicholas and Anthony “AJ” Dragona. He was the co-owner of Whiskey Café in Lyndhurst, NJ, for 20+ years. Anthony lived a fulfilled life; saturated with love and rich in friendship.
Anthony had compassion for everyone, was helpful to anyone, and was guaranteed to make you laugh… Anthony will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A tiki torch burns in his honor.
Anthony is pre-deceased by his son, AJ, who passed in June 2022 and brother Joseph Dragona, March 2024. He is survived by his soulmate, Maureen and beloved son, Nicholas; Sister and best friend Angela and husband Mike; sister in-laws Gerry and Doreen, brother-in-law Frank, several cherished nieces and nephews, and their family cat, Franklin.
