Allyson Legora Obituary

Jefferson Township:  Allyson Marie Legora, age 21, passed away on December 28, 2025. Born on March 30, 2004, Allyson was a beautiful soul whose life, though far too short, left an immeasurable impact on everyone who knew her.

Allyson was a college student at Montclair State University, where she was pursuing her dream of becoming a teacher. Teaching children and helping others was not just a career path for her — it was who she was at her core. She was kind, funny, strong, loving, driven, and endlessly giving. Allyson lived her life for others, always putting the needs and happiness of those she loved before her own.

Family was everything to Allyson. She was the biggest family person, and nothing in this world mattered more to her than the people she loved. Her mother Jodi, her father Casey, and her sister Brielle were the most important part of her life. She loved deeply, fiercely, and selflessly, and she gave her heart completely to her family every single day.

Allyson loved the outdoors, the beach, the sun, and nature. She found peace and happiness in simple, beautiful moments — especially hiking and spending time outside with her beloved dogs, Sam and Harley. Sam was her constant companion, her best friend, and rarely left her side. Allyson also cherished the home she shared with her boyfriend, Nick. She poured her heart into making it her special place, filling it with warmth, love, and her personal touch. Nick, Sam, and Harley were her world.

Her friends meant everything to her, and she was surrounded by incredible people who loved her dearly. She shared a special bond with her best friend, Haley LaPlatte, whose friendship was a constant source of joy and support in her life.

Allyson had a heart of gold. She knew everyone, welcomed everyone, and made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her kindness was natural, her generosity unmatched, and her love unconditional. In her passing, Allyson gave the greatest gift of all — as an organ donor, she saved four lives. She is, without question, a hero.

Allyson is survived by her loving parents, Casey and Jodi Legora; her sister, Brielle; her grandparents Judy Condit, Gerry Condit, and Gary Legora; her boyfriend Nick; her dogs Sam and Harley; and countless family members and friends whose lives are forever changed by knowing her.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Allyson was truly an angel on earth — and now a guardian angel watching over all who loved her. Her love, her light, and her legacy will live on forever.
