Alexis Fisher, a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 13th. Her sudden loss leaves a deep ache in the hearts of her family, friends, and her community.
Alexis grew up in Sparta, where she filled every room with warmth and kindness. She was known for her bright spirit, infectious smile, compassionate heart, and the way she made everyone feel seen and loved.
Just last year, Alexis married the love of her life, Daniel Fisher, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was a day full of joy and promise, a celebration of a love that was beautiful and true. Though their time together was far too short, the love they shared will remain eternal.
Alexis’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched with her grace, generosity, and joyful soul. She will be remembered not for how she died, but for how she lived—with purpose, passion, and love.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Fisher; parents, Christine Miller, Rick Velez, Anthony Miller, and JoAnna Velez; Siblings, Jessica Velez, Nichole Velez, and Ava Miller; Grandmother, Dorothy Sheridan; her many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved dog Kane.
The visitation will be held at Bermingham Funeral Home in Wharton, NJ on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The viewing will take place between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., followed by a short service at 2 p.m., including a prayer and closing remarks led by a priest.
