Mine Hill: Agnes Blich passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover.
Agnes was born in Dover to the late John and Agnes Yurcik, and raised in Wharton. She has lived in Mine Hill for the past 50 years. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Picatinny Arsenal for 42 years. She was member of St. Mary’s Church in Wharton for her entire life.
She was predeceased by her husband Martin “Marty” Blich in 2015, brother John Yurcik and sister Sr. Jane Yurcik.
She is survived by her 2 children; Jacqueline Sheplak-Lewis and her husband Michael of Wharton and Martin J. Blich and his wife Rachel Falco of Montclair, 5 grandchildren; Elise and Reilly Sheplak, Martin J. Jr. and Anderson Blich and Michael Lewis Jr.
Visitation will be held 5-8pm on Tuesday May 24, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral Mass will be held 10am on Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church in Wharton. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mine Hill.
