Roxbury Township: Roger S. Caparoni passed away at St. Clare's Hospital/Denville after a short illness. He was 78 years old.
Roger was born on April 1st, 1940 in Plains, Pennslyvania to the late Nello Caparoni & Orella (nee Barbacci) He has lived in the Kenvil section of Roxbury Township, NJ for 52 years.
He served proudly in the US Navy.
Mr. Caparoni retired from Automatic Switch of Florham Park in 2000 as Plant Manager.
He loved spending time with his Grandchildren. Going to Atlantic City and Disney World with Carol and playing cards with his friends. He was a true fan of the game of baseball and the biggest fan of Roxbury Baseball, Centenary Baseball and the New York Yankees.
He is survived by his wife Carol Caparoni, of 57 years.

Sharon Hartmann and husband Tim.
Roger Caparoni and wife Tracy.
John Caparoni.
Grandchildren: Daniel Caparoni and fiancée Hallie Catania, Zachary Sylsbury, Ryan Caparoni and fiancée Victoria Delgrosso, and Alyssa Sylsbury.
His Brothers: James Caparoni and Louis Caparoni.
Brother-In-Law: Thomas Berezich.
Sister-In-Laws: Corrine Caparoni.
Eileen Caparoni.
Rosalie Berezich.
Helen Berezich.
Roger will be missed by everyone. Heaven gained a great Angel today.
Visitation will be held 12-3pm on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
A funeral service will be held 3pm after the visitation, also at the funeral home.
In Lieu of Flowers donations in Roger's memory to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
