Roxbury Twp.: Roberta Grace Nolan passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Merry Heart Assisted Living in Succasunna. She was 80 years of age.
Roberta was born and raised in Manhattan, New York and lived in Wharton for eight years with her husband before settling in the Lake Rogerene section of Landing to raise their children.
Mrs. Nolan was a Medical Office Administrator for several doctor’s offices and retired from Dr. James Lee (Orthopedic) of East Orange in 1995.
Roberta attended St. Mary’s Church, Wharton. She loved animals and was an avid reader. She could be found spending time with her family, entertaining all who came to her home and made everyone laugh, using her sharp sense of humor.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Nolan in February of 1994 and her son, Robert “Bobby” T. Nolan, Jr. in September of the following year.
She is survived by her Devoted daughter, Maureen Duffy and her husband Robert of Mine Hill.
She leaves behind her beloved Grandsons;
Sean Duffy and Brendan Duffy of Mine Hill.
And Patrick J. Nolan of Pennslyvania.
One Great Grandson, Connor Robert Nolan of Newton, NJ.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 3-5 and 7-9 pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Wharton, NJ 07885.
A funeral mass will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church, Wharton.
Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
