Wharton:
Robert A Stalter passed away at the age of 68 on Jan 31, 2021 after a brief illness.
Bobby was born on Dec 10, 1952 in Dover, NJ to the late Kenneth and Alice (Skelly) Stalter and was a lifelong resident of Wharton.
Bob enjoyed hanging out with his many friends at the Knotty Pine Pub or watching Nascar races with family and friends. He was an avid NY Giants fan. He was especially proud of his 1961 Corvette, going to cruise nights and car shows. He was a great storyteller, making everyone laugh at his tales.
Bob was a charter member of the Wharton Post 91 SAL and an associate member of the Wharton FOP #24.
He graduated from Morris Hills H.S. in 1971. After high school he worked for LE Carpenter in Wharton until its closing. He worked briefly for Koster Plumbing in Netcong and then was employeed at New Jersey Natural Gas until he retired a few years ago.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Kenneth.
He is survived by his daughters, Kacie (Jared) Lochmueller of California, Corri Bates of Roxbury, NJ and his brother, Terry (Pattie) and his nephew Ryan of Wharton, NJ. He is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren, Maddox, Wesson, Auden and Ronin, many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
