Dover: Robert “Bob” Katalinas passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. He was 74 years of age.
Bob was born in Paterson and was raised in Teaneck. He lived in Parsippany from 1971 to 1985 and lived in the Wharton area since 1985.
Mr. Katalinas was a salesman for over 30 years, retiring in 2011 as a sales administrator for NJ Safety Equipment of Delran, NJ.
Robert was a Vietnam Era Army Veteran and a life member and past Commander of the American Legion Post 91 of Wharton. He was also a member of the Tenafly Elks and the Moose Lodge 541 of Dover.
Survived by his daughter Tracey Vigano and husband Matthew of TX.
Siblings: Leo J. Katalinas, Jr. and wife Edith of CO.
Ed Katalinas and wife Nancy of Ringwood, NJ.
Karen Katalinas of PA.
Also survived by his loving companion of 12 years, Debra Gorog.
Visitation will be held 5-8pm on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
A funeral mass will be held 10am on Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church, Wharton.
Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
