Richard Samuel Semenuk

Kearny: Richard Samuel Semenuk passed away on April 27, 2018 at Hackensack University Medical Center with his loving wife Laura Semenuk and family by his side. He was 72 years of age.

Richard was born in Dover, NJ and moved to New York City as a young boy. Richard was a very strong and hard working man. He worked for over 40 years at the Stewart House in New York City as the maintenance man until retiring in 2008.

Richard always lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed music and loved to dance. He was a wonderful, caring, loving and supportive husband to his beautiful wife, Laura, and an amazing Dad to his only daughter; Laura (Bernie) Semenuk.

Richard was the only son of Samuel and Mary Semenuk who predeceased him along with his sister; Lydia Semenuk.

He is survived by wife Laura and his daughter, Bernie.

Four Sisters: Geraldine (Googoo) Cangaelosi and her husband Salvatore.

Irene (Babe) Smith and her husband Alfred (Skeeter).

Pauline Cook and her husband Gerald.

Nancy Giaquinto and her late husband Anthony.

Also survived by 12 nieces and nephews as well as his good friend John.

Richard was a person who would help out anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held 10-12 Noon on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.

A funeral service will be held 12 Noon after the visitation at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
