Wharton: Randolph “Randy” Winnans, Sr., 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center with his family at his side.
Randolph was born to the late Oscar Winnans and Willamayme Green in Burkley, KY and as a teenager moved to New Jersey, settling in Wharton in 1957.
Mr. Winnans worked at the Mt. Hope Mines, Hercules Powder Co. and retired from the Dover Post Office as a letter carrier in 1992. He continued to work at Howmet of Dover for 10 years as a security guard.
He was a member of the Berkshire Valley Presbyterian Church, the Wharton Hungarian Presbyterian Church and the Wharton Senior Citizens. He was also a member of the Dover Moose Lodge.
Survived by his wife, Susann (nee Veres) of 59 years.

Twins; Randolph, Jr. of VA and Roseann Byars and her husband Thomas of KY.
Melody Winnans of Wharton.
Thomas Winnans of Wharton.
Matthew Winnans and wife Kathleen of Hopatcong.
9 Grandchildren; Amanda, John-Alex, Michaela, Meghan, Michael, Matty, Lisa, Becky and Randy, III.
10 Great Grandchildren: Nikita, Kendra, Liza-Marie, Katrina, Harmony, Melvin-Paul III, Logan, Brady, Conor and Randy IV.
Also survived by his siblings; Mary E. Bencini of Indiana.
Matty Jane Bellamy of Kentucky.
Randolph was a private person and loved to spend time with his family. He was especially proud of the four Randy's in the family of which he was the original.
Visitation will be held 4-7pm on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main ST., Wharton.
A funeral service will be held 7pm following the visitation, also at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
