Wharton: Penny Moraga passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital/Dover General. She was 59 years of age.
Penny was born in Montclair and lived in Parsippany before settling in Wharton 21 years ago.
Mrs. Moraga was a bartender for the Wild Irish Rose and was a Wharton School crossing guard for the past 17 years.
She was a member of the Wharton F.O.P. Lodge 24.
As a caring wife and mother of four, Penny was loved by many. She will be missed greatly, from her big heart, to her charming yet funny personality. She loved many, especially kids, working for the Wharton crossing guard. Penny loved barbeques, weekends, and was an avid reader. A family woman, she will leave a lasting positive impression on many souls; you will be missed. With love from us all. “Mama love”
Predeceased by her parents, Daniel Babcock and Patricia Joos, as well as her siblings; Daniel, Dean and Curtis Babcock.
Survived by her husband Gus of 39 years.
Four Children: Gustavo, Tyson, Karla and Chris Moraga, all of Wharton.
Brother: Keith Babcock and wife Sandy of Bloomingdale, NJ.
Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held 5-8pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
Interment will be private.
