Wharton: Michael James Campbell passed away suddenly on May 4, 2018 in West Haven, CT. He was 47 years of age.
Michael was born in Morristown and spent most of his life in Wharton. He was loved by his family and many friends. Mike will be remembered for his love of his family, giving the best hugs and having the biggest smile. He also was an avid NY Giants fan.
He was predeceased by his grandfather Jim Campbell, who is was extremely close too, grandmother Elizabeth Campbell, Aunt Georgianna Drake and Uncle George Fleming.
He is survived by three children; Anthony Salemi, Mikayla Campbell and Jaelyn Campbell, long time friend Val Salemi, mother Virginia Campbell, sister Kimberly Wagner and husband Skip, brother George Campbell and wife Ginny, three uncles; James, Joseph and Henry Campbell and their spouses, aunt Victoria Campbell, seven nieces and nephews and sixteen cousins.
Visitation will be held 1-3pm on Saturday May 12, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A Funeral Service will be held 3pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions can be made to pay for funeral expenses. Any excess funds will be sent to his children.
