Mary Dugan, 87, of Mine Hill, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday September 25, 2019. Mary was born on February 16, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY and lived there until moving to Dover, NJ in 1973, she moved to Mine Hill in 2005.

Mary loved playing Bingo and playing Slots at the Casino, she loved people and she loved driving. She overcame adversity early in life and became an unbelievably strong woman. She had a strong faith and was a practicing Catholic and loved her Parish, Sacred Heart in Dover. Mary was a Telephone Operator, she worked at Alert Answering Service in Dover, then she got a job as a Telephone Operator at Dover General Hospital where she stayed until she retired in 1998. She loved working at Dover General, she had a great sense of humor and was naive at times, but was able to laugh when jokes were played on her.

She was predeceased by her Husband Thomas, her Parents Archibald and Winifred (neé Jamieson) McInnes, her siblings, John McInnes, Donald McInnes, Beaty McNeeley, Jeanette McInnes, Jean Quinton, and her twin Catherine McInnes on July 24, 2019. Mary is survived by her loving Daughter, Denise Dugan-Konyok and her Husband Douglas Konyok of Mine Hill, and many Nieces and Nephews and extended family and friends.

Mary loved life and felt in general that most people are good.

Arrangements are by Bermingham Funeral Home, Mary will be cremated and burial will be private. A Mass and Repass will be held for Mary at a future date.
