Roxbury Twp: James J. Kruger passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice/Dover General. He was 69 years of age.
Jim was born to the late Wayne Kruger and Isabelle (nee Ryan) in Dover where he was raised. He lived in Kenvil for 10 years before settling in the Succasunna section of Roxbury Twp. 34 years ago.
Mr. Kruger was a Kitchen Design District Manager for Home Depot and retired in 2013.
James was a Vietnam Era, US Marine veteran
He was a member of the American Legion Post #245 of Lake Hopatcong.
Predeceased by his brother John Kruger.
Survived by his wife Marilyn (nee Cronin) of 46 years.
Son: Brian and his wife Kim of Netcong.
Sister: Rose Marie Gross and husband Anthony of Kenvil.
Sister-In-Law and Brother-In-Law Barbara and Dennis Miller of Kenvil.
Father-In-Law: Robert Cronin of Dover. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 4-8pm on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton.
A funeral service will be held 10am on Wednesday, also at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory to the American Legion Post 245, 210 Espanong Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849 would be appreciated.
