Mine Hill: Brenda Ann Garrison Trosky passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. She was 65 years of age.

Born in Morristown and raised in Dover, she lived in Mine Hill for the past 29 years.

Brenda was a 1965 Dover High School Graduate.

Mrs. Trosky was a registered nurse for over 33 years, receiving her Nursing Degree from All Soul’s Hospital, Morristown. She had worked at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Dover General Hospital, and St. Clare’s Hospital. She was also the head nurse at Greystone Psychiatric Hospital and did private in home nursing. After her retirement from nursing she worked as a waitress for the Mt. Arlington Sheraton and Rockaway Townsquare Diner until 2006.

Pre-deceased by her daughter: Nadine in 1974, parents: Glenn and Dolores Garrison and her brother: Walter Todd.

Survived by her loving husband of 38 years: Andy

Brother: Thomas Todd and his wife: Carol of Nashville, TN

Sister: Cindy Beggs and her husband: Charles of Brick, NJ

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St. Wharton. Funeral service will be held on Saturday 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
