Mine Hill: James “Jimmy” Boisvert passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, he was 85 years of age.
Born in Morristown he was a lifelong resident of the Mine Hill and Succasunna area.
Jim was a 1944 Dover High School graduate.
Mr. Boisvert was a construction laborer for Union Local 913, Dover for over forty years, retiring in 1991.
He was a WW II Navy veteran and a member of the Mine Hill American Legion Post 391.
Jim was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Wharton.
Pre-deceased by his companion: Anna Gretsky and his siblings: Robert Boisvert, Jr., Elizabeth Robinson, Alma Davenport and Grace Peterson Brown.
Survived by his two sisters: Mary Lou Bott of New Foundland, NJ
Laura Roantree of Blairstown
Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday 3-4:30 PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. Funeral service will be held 4:30 PM following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Mine Hill Rescue Squad, 10 Baker St., Mine Hill, NJ 07803 would be appreciated.
